COURSE DESCRIPTION AND LEARNING OBJECTIVES
The objective of the CanSky Aviation Deicing Supervisor/Inspector training course is to educate personnel on the “clean aircraft concept”, and the requirements and responsibilities for their specific roles and functions as a Deicing Supervisor (DI-L30) and/or Deicing Inspector (DI-L30B) as found in SAE AS6285/AS6286, applicable national legislation and regulatory guidelines (EASA, FAA and Transport Canada), and other applicable industry standards and guidelines.

• Aircraft pre/post deicing check personnel
• Groundcrew personnel tasked per customer air carriers to perform inspection/check only services
• Deicing operations management staff
• Air carrier personnel with responsibilities under their ground icing program
• Air carrier quality assurance/control inspectors

• Aircraft maintenance personnel
• Regulatory inspectors
