Description
COURSE DESCRIPTION AND LEARNING OBJECTIVES
The objective of the CanSky Deicing Coordinator training course is to educate personnel on the “clean aircraft concept”, and the requirements and responsibilities for their specific roles and functions as a Deicing Coordinator (DI-L50) as found in SAE AS6285/AS6286, applicable national legislation and regulatory guidelines (EASA, FAA and Transport Canada), and other applicable industry standards and guidelines.

• Air carrier local deicing operations staff
• Deicing facility pad management staff
• Deicing operations management staff
COURSE DURATION
This theoretical eLearning training course is self paced, the approximate length is 1 day (7 hours).
Note, as an introductory course, dependent on the size and complexity of the local deicing operation at your airport(s), supplemental training may be required.
