Twenty years of legal experience in regulatory, commercial and general litigation with special emphasis on air carrier defence work. Frequently appears before the Superior Court of Justice and Ontario Court of Justice. Actively engaged on Boards, most notably currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Home Construction Regulatory Authority (HCRA). Past Chair of Peel Crime Stoppers, working in collaboration with Peel Regional Police. Past Board Member with St. John Ambulance and Victim Services of Peel. Invited speaker with the Board of Airline Representatives Canada (BAR Canada), Law Society of Upper Canada, and other business entities locally and internationally to speak on the issues of equity, diversity and women leadership. Active guest lecturer at the Faculty of Law – University of New Brunswick. Recipient of the Women Achievers Canada aware for Legal Entrepreneur, as well as for Business Development and Growth from the organization Brilliant Minded Women. Awarded the Safe City Mississauga Bell Hero Award for work in crime prevention in the Region of Peel. Recipient of the ‘Challenger Coin’ from the ex-Peel Regional Police Chief Jennifer Evans for outstanding performance and excellence.
