COURSE DESCRIPTION AND LEARNING OBJECTIVES
The objective of the CanSky Aviation Deicing Instructor training course is to educate personnel on the “clean aircraft concept”, and the requirements and responsibilities for their specific roles and functions as a Deicing Instructor (DI-L40) as found in SAE AS6285/AS6286, applicable national legislation and regulatory guidelines (EASA, FAA and Transport Canada), and other applicable industry standards and guidelines.

INTENDED AUDIENCE
• Personnel intending to instruct theoretical and/or practical/OJT aircraft de/anti-icing training courses as found in SAE AS6286 (DI-L10 thru DI-L80) and applicable national legislation and regulatory guidelines.
• Personnel intending to instruct CanSky de/anti-icing training courseware.
• Personnel intending to perform practical/OJT evaluations and assessments.
• Deicing Coordinators, Deicing Supervisors and others that monitor and provide quality control during de/anti-icing operations

COURSE DURATION
This theoretical eLearning training course is self paced, the approximate length is 1 day (7 hours).
